I didn’t buy my car for drag racing, I like a car that can handle corners on rails .
With E85 tune and lots of weight reduction I’m sure I’d be close.
And I like a drivers car with a manual so maybe we are in completely different mindsets on what makes a complete sports car

Some old geezer on a $13,000 Kawasaki is going to smoke you in a straight line every time....
(that would be me BTW, the C14 easily does sub 11 second 1/4's)

It's a laugh when some cager takes on a bike. My last was a MT09, just 847cc and 115hp, but some reviewer did 2.7 to 60 and 10.3 1/4 mile on a stock one. I'm too porky to do that good, he was probably a Japanese racing sardine.

This was the fastest bike in my collection, although my 2002 ZZR1200 was a very close second.

In the Kawasaki world I always seem to buy their second fastest bike

The ZZR ( I also owned a ZRX 1200R) was one below the ZX12 which was Kawi's King of the Hill bike competing against the Hyabusa, then I upgraded to the C14 which was behind the ZX14R and again that is Kawi's offering in the speed wars.

i don't feel the need to be the fastest guy in the pack, I am happy being the second fastest guy.

My only Kwaka road bike was a '83 GPz750. I shouldn't have sold it, cornered like it was on rails.

Well for what it's worth ...2018 Mustang GT 5.0 Ten speed 3:55 rear . using the cars computer app. for Quarter Mile Specs . Did it 3 times , car had 200 miles on it, Stock 19" junk P's Tires ,
11.79 117 MPH was best . I know ...computers suck , only real proof is a "Time Slip " I agree ... But I've heard the 2018-2020 GT'5.0 's were a bit stronger than later models.. Don't claim to be a Pro on this , Does anyone care to comment on that ? Right or wrong , just like to hear another opinion .

Beautiful Bike . My little brother bought a Kawasaki 750 in 1970-71...........I thought a Ford 428 Cobra Jet was Fast......Until he took me for a ride ... "FIRST AND LAST TIME I EVER SAT ON A MOTORCYCLE !!!!

That's the reaction of a lot of car guys. But, you quickly get used to the way bikes perform. Except the latest hyper bikes, with around 1.1hp per kilo, or like a Mustang with 1900hp. Probably too fast for anyone to ride to their limits but a MotoGP or WSBK rider.
