Got new wheels and tires and TPMS from American Muscle that were advertised for mustang. Worked fine for a while and now the intermittently go out, sometimes all 4 , sometimes 1 or 2. No pattern then in a week they are working again. So is there a real answer to programming them or are they...
Interesting but I had a 24 GT and through every mode it was 149 mph and the forum confirmed that number. Same forum said Dark Horse was 168 and can't attest personally to the number as only had enough space for 155 and limiter wasn't hit. Now with Whipple stage one hit 160 and a wall. So...
The limiter was never 140. I was to directly by Ford guys at the performance school that the GT was 149 and Dark Horse was 168. So please refrain from posting incorrect information or heresy. And I had a 24GT and can attest the limiter was 149.
My understanding is the Dark Horse from the factory has limiter set at 168 mph. Installeda Whipple from Ford and hit a wall at 5000rpm and 160 mph. I was in normal driving mode so could that be the issue or is something set incorrectly as a thought the limiter was disabled with supercharger...
I have the handling package but needed all season tires. I had custom wheels built fir michelin pilot sport in 325/30/19 rear rinms 11.5 wide and 285/35/19 front rims 9.5. So much more grip than factory Perelli trifelo. Gloss black due to brake dust showing on other colors plus it matches...
I had clamps come loose and the pipe dropped. We torqued them pretty hard. Fortunately it happened at start up and I heard it. . The damage it could cause if it came loose while moving , ugly. For $125 to weld the clamps in place and that piece of mind.. priceless. My 2 cents
I did the H Pipe using the standard clamps, they failed within a day. Same song and dance from Steeda about they are good quality. No confidence in clampsand the pipe falling forward would be really bad so had it welded at local muffler shop. That money spent is better than any clamps IMHO
Why are you selling with only 1k miles if they handle good? Also why the large size on the rear tires? My concern with smaller tires on front is the reducing ground clearance on splitter that is already too low
