I've been over multiple manufacturing companies and this is not a knee jerk reaction. Your company either doesn't have the right processes in place or your people welders follow them. Be thankful you aren't supplying Ford like I have. They don't react well at all for this. There is a difference in quality control and quality assurance.
We proudly supply Ford and many other companies in the aftermarket with parts - we are always holding ourselves to the highest standards. To characterize a weld that passed quality control prior to shipping as a 'crap' product is where I must take exception.

Our reputation has been built on delivering top-quality parts to the aftermarket, supported by significant investment in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Valdosta, GA.

Moreover, many of our team members are veterans and valued members of the local community. While mistakes can happen, our commitment to excellence and integrity remains unwavering.

Quality control, quality assurance ... whatever term you prefer ... no one benefits when a product ships without meeting our standards. When the first opportunity to provide support comes through a forum rather than direct contact, we lose the chance to investigate and take corrective action before public perception intervenes.

don't let these guys get to you, TJ. if it means anything, i'm totally on your side. even Ford and their suppliers make mistakes, but it doesn't mean that they're a bad company. there was once where my dealer got delivered an F-150 Raptor R, but Ford forgot the fender flares entirely. there was also a time where on a Super Duty, the front-left window switch was defective in a way where adjusting the mirrors made the windows go up and down.

personally, i like Steeda's products for the most part, not all of them of course (the cold air intake comes to mind), but the vast majority of what you guys have. they also seem to be really high quality and professionally made. the products are a bit pricey, but i can handle that because it means that you're paying the people who made it a respectable wage

sorry, I was not intending to say they were bad. It will be my third one and I’m really wanting to use the Steeda, I am hoping the 3rd time works out.

Just got the steeda h pipe, and ordered the upgraded exhaust clamps. Was talking to someone yesterday that said I should weld it, what do you guys think, or what’s your experience using the clamps? Gonna torque them to spec. Thank you.
I had clamps come loose and the pipe dropped. We torqued them pretty hard. Fortunately it happened at start up and I heard it. . The damage it could cause if it came loose while moving , ugly. For $125 to weld the clamps in place and that piece of mind.. priceless. My 2 cents

No doubt your company and people care. There is a huge difference in being a Tier 1 supplier to Ford and an aftermarket supplier. Ford and others I've supplied being over an entire company wouldn't accept missing welds and it wouldn't last long. Not backing off that. I agree, I wouldn't want to find out from a forum but that's who buys your parts. What counts now, is what ls learned.
