Having removed more exhausts than I care to think about, I can only plead, don't weld them.
A huge PIA.

SEnd that back! As for the clamps, the ones that comes with the pipe is mickey mouse, my left pipe leaks. i ordered the heavy duty ones from amazon, they look like the stock ones.

How Steeda miss the incomplete welds?
We have quality control measures in place, with actual humans conducting the inspections. If a customer receives one & it's not satisfactory, we ask them to reach out to us via the proper channels.

Best,

TJ

Just received my h pipe, this was my second one as the first one seemed damaged, but this one also seems like damage in the same spot, so I’m not sure if it’s damage or not? Think you could help me out? Also the new one seems to be missing weld spots compared to the other one sent.

Incredible. How does one miss a weld like that? I'd get money back and be done with it. I just don't have the patience to deal with companies that send out crap like that.
We sell 1000s of these a year ... don't think a couple that get through our quality control process is reason to have a knee-jerk reaction.

And then we complain about made in China? 🤣

All my Chinese stuff was very decent.
Go ahead & complain about China - these are produced in the USA.

You misread my comment completely.

That's exactly the whole point I made.
We complain about Chinese products while the American products are even worse.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

American-made products should never be viewed as inferior, nor grouped with imports manufactured under conditions far below U.S. standards.

We adhere to rigorous ISO9001 requirements, ensuring that every product made in the United States meets the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship.

The comment I reviewed appears to suggest that the product is being criticized simply because it is made in China, or assumed to reflect Chinese-grade manufacturing standards.

We take these concerns & matters seriously - please allow us time to review this with our internal team/technical team to fully understand the concerns.

After ordering from the USA and from China, I can say that China isn't far below US standards.

During my time in North America, I had so many flaws when ordering USA made products. Nothing conpared to my experience with Chinese products that I ordered for many years.

Sometimes we need to acknowledge that China isn't sitting still. They are improving every day by a lot. The bad reputation that Chinese products have are because of the old days and because today's politics, but they are superior now in almost everything.

I've been a customer of Steeda for many parts. For me, no issues. That said and only offer this advice.

"Customer is always correct attitude." You accept responsibility and replace the part and move on. Review your quality check process to correct where and how the defect is occurring. This is how you build a customer centered organization.

I've been over multiple manufacturing companies and this is not a knee jerk reaction. Your company either doesn't have the right processes in place or your people welders follow them. Be thankful you aren't supplying Ford like I have. They don't react well at all for this. There is a difference in quality control and quality assurance.

Steeda HPipe with the Vivid clamps is the first aftermarket exhaust anything I've had where I can't hear any leaks. Maybe I got lucky with my cuts to remove the stock resonator but this with stock active exhaust sounds so much better to me than my last 5.0 with a Borla S-Type catback. Cold starts in quiet mode are a little louder but cruising is like driving a stock Civic. I couldn't be happier with this setup.

i honestly think the whole idea of one country being better than another as a whole when making things is entirely stupid. every country has its hits and misses. it's no better than the equally stupid diehard brand loyalty.

i have some terrible Chinese made things - my desk that came pre-damaged, some LCDs that were assembled wrong, but i also have some great Chinese made things like my 3D printer and all my Craftsman tools. i've had good and bad US made products too. the only countries i've had consistently good products come from are Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan, and even then nothing has been 100% perfect all the time with them

except Chinese stuff sucks most of the time

Even your "craftsman" tools

"China" makes stuff as good as you're willing to pay for but if you want really quality you go to Taiwan

Vietnam and India are making the bottom level shit now

We readily accept responsibility; however, our established procedure is to be contacted first so matters can be addressed through the proper channels. When no direct contact is made and the forum becomes the first point of escalation, we are compelled to respond in order to protect our brand’s image and integrity.
