Questions about Steeda H pipe

Just got the steeda h pipe, and ordered the upgraded exhaust clamps. Was talking to someone yesterday that said I should weld it, what do you guys think, or what’s your experience using the clamps? Gonna torque them to spec. Thank you.

Are these torque specs for the upgraded clamps you sell, or are those different that the set that comes with it? Thank you!

Those torque specs are for both types of clamps.

Just received my h pipe, this was my second one as the first one seemed damaged, but this one also seems like damage in the same spot, so I’m not sure if it’s damage or not? Think you could help me out? Also the new one seems to be missing weld spots compared to the other one sent.

SEnd that back! As for the clamps, the ones that comes with the pipe is mickey mouse, my left pipe leaks. i ordered the heavy duty ones from amazon, they look like the stock ones.

How Steeda miss the incomplete welds?

This is my second one too, the first one had a bad dent in the end. So I’ll be on my 3rd re order :( did the heavy duty clamps fix the leak, or were they pretty much the same as the ones that came with it? Thinking of a weld if I can ever get one that’s good.

Incredible. How does one miss a weld like that? I'd get money back and be done with it. I just don't have the patience to deal with companies that send out crap like that.

And then we complain about made in China?

All my Chinese stuff was very decent.

I did corsa double x pipe. Very high quality!

I’m thinking of just going with roush or corsa, don’t really want to deal with getting another with the same issue

The double-X and double-H knockoffs from 2M Fabrications are just as good and so much cheaper. Unlike headers, there's nothing challenging about a pair of exhaust pipes so with the terrible quality you just experienced, Corsa can't claim "you get what you pay for." The Corsa Extreme Muffler welds on my son's car failed after two years. Corsa replaced them but their quality is hit or miss and they definitely not the same as when they were owned by Jim Browning.
