I think Ford should bring back the falcon and make it basically a 4-door mustang that crushes the sales of chargers.
But let me make this clear: By no means call it a mustang! A 4-door car is NOT a mustang! Ford botched the mach-e by trying to live in the mustang's shadow and it failed miserably.
It could use a lot of the same parts as the mustang to drive down production costs. They could even try an AWD variant to compete with the new AWD charger. Would be fun times.
The thing is, nobody 20 years old can afford a new mustang, they're all buying "practical" cars like camrys and RAV4's, and if any mustangs at all, USED mustangs. Who's buying NEW mustangs? People 30+ with money. And a lot of those people have families and need a car with 4 doors.
Love my mustang, but it would not be practical if it were my only car, which is why my daily is a 4-door BMW where I can comfortably fit both kids and adults in the back seat.
