My 2025 GT Infotainment screen says, 'Navigation not functioning properly, get thee to the dealer'. Not long after the last update, my USB drive started to malfunction by losing it's place and starting in a certain file. Other issues like my iPhone lost pairing after every shutdown, or a completely black screen, or navigation load failure began to happen regularly. I re-set the screen by either shutting the car down, or holding both the next track and volume button on the steering wheel. Finally, after a few days this message came up: "Navigation is not functioning properly, Please visit your dealer for service." So, I have an appointment

Did you pay up to keep your nav connectivity?

Also, may have quit because you're listening to Ellen DeGeneres. ;)
If I lose Ellen, will I gain Nav? I believe you get 3 years of Navagation services. I didn’t know it was complimentary. I thought it was like every other car I bought. You get navigation, but you don’t get the updates. This is baloney. Anyways, I don’t think it’s a subscription issue.

Im not sure you get 3 years complimentary? I got 1 year with my mine. If you worked a deal when you bought yours then it could be included or something. When the trial expires I believe the nav still works you just dont get the live status updates like traffic ect.

My 24 GT's NAV works after 1 year. With no subscription, there are no longer any live updates

I’m good with GPS navigation without traffic updates. As long as I have navigation wit’s out using my IPhone, even though that works good. If this subscription lasts a year, then there’s 3 months left. I read online, and believe me when I say speculation is near worthless, that the fix may involve replacing the Nav module behind the Infotainment screen. The other was replacing the antenna behind the screen. Can I say I never had good luck with new Fords?

Let us know what happens after the dealership looks at your GT. 🍻

You said this started after an OTA update? Message me the VIN and I'll poke around to see if I see anything helpful.

I would try disconnecting the negative cable from the 12v battery for 20 minutes. You'd be surprised how many little nuisances that can fix.

1FA6P8CF2S540xxxx. You might be right about the battery disconnect. I have extra plastic pins that break when you pull the cover.
