The car should have come painted that way. At least the lower bar should match body paint. Someone needs to make a wrap.

Ive seen black and red replacement CAI bezels on E Bay, but nothing to replace/wrap the trim bar. Your suggestion is a good one though; seems like one of those companies that make pre cut stripes and graphics for the S650s would see that as an opportunity and have them on the market already. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe even a decal of matching paint would work on a budget. Pretty funny...nothing about this is budget friendly.

Color match doesnt look bad. But I personally prefer the black contrast. Especially on the bright colors. To each their own.

The little "safety" lights were my worry on Daisy... I was afraid they'd stand out and look weird. But they're not really that noticeable on your dark red (at least in pictures).

I had my holes wrapped over, so they're completely hidden during the day, and kinda glow a neat cool blue at night. If anyone else is planning to color-match their bumper, this is something to keep in mind. A light color would probably make the hole stand out (assuming you think it would even bother you).

It's funny -- people always want whatever they don't already have. If Ford had made these front ends all-body-color, everybody would be having their coves painted black because "Ford shoulda done it that way" 🤪

Those of us with a Shadow Black car, we can already have it both ways. My coves are blacked out, AND body colored! 🤣

The great thing is, each of us can have it however we want -- all it takes is money! 😎

It's more to do with customization.

This is not a 7th-generation Mustang, obviously, but since we're on the topic of painting black plastic trim, I thought I'd share a few before-and-after photos of my 2011. I special-ordered it and already knew what cosmetic modifications I wanted to make once it came in. Here it is in stock trim.

I never cared for the chin spoiler on the GT, so I ordered the California Special chin spoiler from the parts counter. I had that, the grill surround, the lower body side moldings, and the lower rear panel all painted body color. It's a little hard to notice the difference in the photos, as Kona Blue is pretty dark.

Oh yeah, and I bought a pair of flush-mount louvers from Silverhorse Racing.

Tastes differ and that's not to mine, I like the Black/Blue contrast on mine. But it does make it look different for not much money.

Sorry, but I don’t like it at all. It seems to me as when you paint a wall including window frames, sockets and everything in your way.
