Yea, FDRS is not cheap anymore. Either way, you would not be able to obtain the files. We would need someone with an automatic to use FDRS to get the files and then use FORScan to flash them on the manual cars.@rugedraw

Not really interested in doing firmware updates with FDRS, its too cost prohibitive. I think it cost me like 150CAD for 2 days of access, they updated the pricing model a while back to some subscription nonsense.
It may be just that simple, i was able to get it all to work without DTC's just cruise would no longer engage.
Or, someone can use FDRS and type the VIN of automatic car and hope the new AI cybersecurity doesn't ban the account for "remote diagnosis". These things used to be much easier to do before they implemented the subscription version and the new cybersecurity measures.
