Ordered Variant NYSA wheels 20/10 & 20/11. The manufacturer picked the offset.

The dark horse looks amazing in that colour and the offset on those wheels is perfect.

After your comment in my thread I had to come check this out. Nice pics.

Those are the stock DH (non-HP) springs with an aftermarket DH Splitter?

Yes, correct. I have a non-HP DH and I installed 20x10/20x11 wheels and the HP OEM front-splitter (among other changes).

Wondering how the stock DH HP springs would handle the additional weight of the Supercharger or if the BMR Minimum Drop springs would be required for what I'm looking at doing.

Basically, if the BMR Minimum Drop springs are the same ride height as the DH Handling Package, just a little stiffer, that would be a win!

Sadly, BMR sales email has been TERRIBLE at responding to inquiry.

This looks awesome! I really like your style! Can I ask you how much does getting that hood cost? You can DM me if you dont want to share publicly.

Thank you!

Well, it ended up being quite a bit more expensive than I had hoped.

The fiberglass hood is around $1250 right now, plus a couple hundred for shipping unless you're close and can pick it up.

The first quote I got for paint was $4,300; which I thought was rather excessive. 2nd quote was $1700 sight unseen. By the time it left the body shop, the final bill was about $2,800.
Considerably more than I was originally quoted by this shop, but still a lot better than the first.

The decals came from eBay for about $120.
They're Oracle 651 vinyl and I had the body shop install and clear coat over them so there shouldn't be any chance of them peeling or having a letter blown off by a pressure washer or something.

The hood did come with hood pins, but I wasn't sure if they were actual AeroCatch latches or not so I spent another $100 making sure that they were, and got the version with the steel strike pins rather than using the aluminum ones that came with the hood.

By the time it was all said and done, I'm probably into the hood for about $4500.

Was this hood to increase airflow, weight saving, provide extra space for a strut tower brace over a Whipple, or just for the look?
