Can you elaborate on the bumper? I think I have the same issue.

I didn't catch it initially, but when I was looking at the body lines I eventually saw it. Second Pic shows how the tabs weren't installed properly. No damage to indicate this was post build. I just popped em all back out, straightened the tabs and reinstalled.

Thats exactly my problem. How did you losen the bumper to get the tabs in? I saw a video where basically you had to take the whole bumper off and re-hang it.

I just pulled it out by hand, it's only held on by those tabs. It's been almost a year though since I did it.... I can't remember the exact details but it took me 5 minutes in the parking lot.

I just googled it and found a TSB on it. Is yours an early 2024 car?

Mine being 500 miles at the moment I found to be decent build quality. It actually made me think I should have gotten the M2. Rattle coming from upper dash behind screen and the sensors area on the windshield. A small cut on the center console where the ebrake is and the most annoying would be the embroidery thread unstitching itself off the steering wheel.

I have an Oxford white 2025 GT I bought new last month. Since your car is also white, have you noticed a difference in the white on the sheet metal vs the white on the plasics(grille shell, rear bumper)? Mine looks kinda like it is a compromise that would fit Oxford and Wimbledon and leans more toward the latter. Not the worst thing in the world but just wondering if mine is an exception.

when you replace UAW workers with robotic welding, robotic painting, and reasonably current manufacturing processes you can make a good car.

Machining and materials have jumped light years in just a few years, the precision and tolerances of current machining methods were unthinkable 40 years ago.

But all that can be defeated by accountants who look at an additional $1 per car cost when you are making 45,000 cars a year and decide the change is not cost effective.

Also things like government mandates for fuel economy has manufacturers using oils that will make the C.A.F.E. and EPA happy, and hold the car together during warranty, but give very little reliability after that

I still say that outside of the 5,0 Coyote most of Ford's engines are garbage

And what is with plastic intakes and oil pans?
Not going to bite on the ford engines are crap except the coyote. I'm gussing your young.

When I put in my Form lighting side markersI had to seperate the rear bumper. Then when I tried to put it back it would not line up so had to take it to the dealer to have them fix it. One side did go back just the drivers side would not.

I think I may also have the rear bumper issue. I noticed after 2k miles it start to separate a few millimeters near the taillight.

I also started to hear excessive creaking near the trunk. I wrapped tape around the rear seat hooks as another post suggested but no luck.

Actually I am a seasoned citizen with more than 50 years of wrenching on Fords

The Ecoboosts are garbage, the 4 and 6 cylinder engines are eating timing sets and water pumps faster than they are wearing thru brakes and tires.

Sure Ford has had come issues over the years, every manufacturer has including Toyota and their turn of the century V6 "sludge: motors and mid to late 00's 4 bangers that were oil burners to the point of Toyota replacing engines on a whole lot of cars.

But IMHO the reliability of the current offerings from FoMoCo is relatively low.

I won't even get into my 05 F150, 5.4, trans let go at 62K miles, went to remove the transmission and the frame was gone. That truck ate parts like there was no tomorrow.
