Silly question stupid post but none of the listings on the window sticker or websites list the oil cooler as included in the PP. Believe it or not I don't care about a stitched center console lid or a rear spoiler

TIA preesh

Well, I usually say to check the order guide to see what's included... but it only lists oil coolers for the Darkhorse... I'm pretty sure the GT PP has the oil cooler?

You have to admit it's pretty odd for the window sticker and most if not all descriptions found online to omit it.

I don't need staggered wheels, summer times, a rear spoiler, a different stitching on the center console, etc. I just want to be able to drive the car in a spirited fashion without limping it...you know, like I can with my lil 'ol 4.6 lol. And factory 3.73's so they can't try to bounce my warranty on a gear mod. Torsen is nice as well. How many kiddos will track this? Similar to the STI and DH, most of this stuff is overkill for what the car will be used for.

I don't have time to look up the list of everything that is included in the Performance Pack, but yes, an oil cooler is included.

Reports of a cooling problem on the base GT are greatly exaggerated. Unless its supercharged, or your tracking it, or REALLY beating on it, its not a problem.

As for the PP, If you dont want all that stuff just buy the auxiliary cooler separately and install it on a base GT. Its a lot cheaper.

Well since the car doesn't use an oil temp sensor it will not recognize the oil cooler and still limp the car based on its incorrect data even when unnecessary. There are ppl who have made adjustments with the fans etc to correct but still

You can get a tune so it will recognize the new temp with the cooler.

And for the record, ive only heard of one person on here going into limp mode due to oil temps. And he was beating the shit out of the car doing a half dozen WOT pulls in quick succession without letting it cool. Most cars would have an issue doing that.

According to Ford, the gauge says 280⁰ is considered "hot". Ive never been over 240⁰ and I live in Phoenix and drive "spirited".
