Not changing your oil also voids your warranty. No need to over explain it. The OP was asking is if installation voids warranty. It does not. It goes without saying you need to drain them periodically.
Good to know, I'll delete in t minus-5 mins

I got the ford Perf pair for whipple chargers. We threw them on in like 30 mins or less . Look great and look factory.

Whilst I know from my own research that oil catch cans need to be checked and emptied periodically, I definitely don’t think it “goes without saying” (especially when Ford’s owners manual says they don’t!) and I found @DarkMatterGrey ’s explanation v useful, so would suggest he reinstates it for others who might be new to the Coyote engine.

Some times the most basic things are assumed. Oil doesnt magically disappear from a catch can. If you dont understand its function and how one works, then perhaps just leave it alone.

Knowledge builds with time and experience, maybe don’t assume everyone has decades of experience working on engines. It’s not like it’s beyond the realm of possibilities that some of us might come here to learn something new…

WHAAAAATTTTT?
Are you the only poster in this thread that's not a multi-disciplined licensed racer, ASE master technician & engineer?

You do know that this is the internet? EVERYONE here just fiddles around with engine design in our off time and part time consults with big 3 auto manufacturers.

Just in case you didn't know this.

Sure wish the pdi typo and catch can description was 100% accurate. Having a self emptying catch can in the end ends up being a fancy pcv contraption, some even drain into the pan via the dipstick tube. But yeah sharing tinker gleaned knowledge is the fun part. 😉😎

Thanks all. Definitely going to buy the ford perf oil separators. I bought a used GT350 few years back that had them on, as the car came that way I was just wondering on warranty, as they looked stock but I found out later they were not. I only owned the car a year. Anyways driving a dark horse now and want them back.

I agree. But you don't need decades of experience working in engines to understand that catch cans dont drain themselves. 😉
