Pirelli has lowered the price of the Trofeo RS

The rear, 315, used to be about $780

It is now 600 bucks

Are they last years production? I see this often with some max performance tires... older production, prices drop (as does the grip, lol).

Very good question, Sofa King. I do not have the answer.

Does the grip drop after one year in a warehouse? I thought they would be good for two years, but I am no expert.

I would think they would be good for a couple years. Not sure how much they degrade "per year" though. I would imagine someone that tracks alot could tell a difference.

Interesting that the smaller 305 front is $70 more than the larger 315 rear. Clearly not "priced by the pound".

I pulled those off my dark horse with handling package as fast as I could. Useless in wet weather, the stickiness of the tires grabs every stone/pebble on the road and kicks it back, chipping the paint.

Mine are in storage if anyone wants to buy them….. great tire for track day!
