Amber DRL via Forscan (and FDRS) - YES!

Do you have any idea on what change needs to be made to enable/disable the grille lights? Maybe something in HCM or BCM?

And just like that ford resolved the issue. Now the ones that are wanting the grille lights to work they just need to program with the new dark horse info. Zoom into the grille and you can see the Amber grille light

I was just thinking this guess once we get some more info on it we'll have to try it out

Thanks to Mr. Jones (not sure his forum name), I was able to get the GTD ambers to work. I used FORScan Beta 2.4.2, bought the OBD Link EX cable from Amazon. and followed his video for Job 2. My RTR lights still work as normal (though I wish they were amber as well).

My specs:
2024 Job 2
RTR lights
-added GTD amber DRL
-added the DH welcome lighting
-added the approach lock/unlock

I have a job 1 mustang, and am trying to update to job 2 hcm.. would anyone with a job 1 thats been updated to job 2 via FDRS be able to send me their .vbf files for the hcm? Specifically the scondary boot loader, strategy and ECU config/base config?

you can side load them via forscan beta 2.4.20. I'm trying to see if this is a viable workaround for no FDRS access ( i understand i will have to manually update the VIN in the HCM, this is not an issue). We are close to being able to do the amber DRL completely inside of forscan with no DTC on job 1 and 2. Job 2 has no DTC from this already, job 1 if you update the vbf using the "available" for the hcm on job 1, you get a DTC U2024

The good news is this DTC does not really cause any known issues, no CEL, etc. I'm just trying to figure a way to have the update on job 1 cars with no DTC at all.

Has anyone figured out how to get the ipc gauges from the GTD or the new dark horse yet?

Anyone please help me lol. Was in the middle of changing the DRL brightness on a job 1 DH under BCM as built and my laptop randomly went from 90% to 0% in the middle of programming it. I re programmed the BCM with the as built file that I downloaded prior to initiating the change and the welcome lighting sequence still isn’t working. Anyone know what I need to do to fix it?
