So here is an odd situation, that I'm hoping I'm just missing the obvious.....
2024 Mustang GT Premium with 401A.....the trunk release button on the dash is not working. The trunk release works just fine using the button under the rear deck lid or via the key fob.
I have had the car for roughly a week, and while a 2024, it was bought new from the dealer, so no aftermarket shenanigans (I hope lol).
My first thought was to check the fuse (#16 in the under hood fuse box) and too my surprise there was no fuse at all??? I attempted to put a 10amp fuse into the slot and while the fuse dropped down to the same height as the other fuses, it didn't really clip into place. I removed it and it doesn't really look like there is anything for it to clip into.
I'm guessing the key fob and the button under the deck lid work on a separate fused circuit than the dash button....
So thoughts on the missing fuse? Or is it on a different fuse and possibly a faulty button in the dash?
Any help would be appreciated!!
