Disabling Electronic Sound Enhancement and ANC for subwoofer install

I just never noticed a difference with ANC or ESE in the GT when driving it, but I knew it was absolutely necessary to disable it if you plan on getting subs, b/c will emit buzzing/crackling sound from what I researched on car audio sites.
In my RAM Rebel I got system put in and they forgot to disable ANC. Lemme tell you it sounded terrible. Got it disabled and much better. IMO, disabling it makes your radio and speakers sound better b/c those extra frequencies being pumped through it are no longer there.

I got a bypass harness for the anc, from what I've read I will need to use forscan for the ese. Going to do a little research before I try it.

Wouldn’t be the first time a media release was incorrect.

Is it possible the media release didn’t translate correctly? The owners manual mentions exhaust sound enhancement and even talks about the electronic noise reduction function and you still wanna disable a head function in order to prove a point?

All of you who are disabling ESE, can you simply record driving in track mode, maybe a hard acceleration run, before and after disabling, and pickup the difference in audio?

I still remember the very first time I went from idle to a full throttle blast in Track Mode at high rpm (tires spinning), just a short blast - I remember my kid asking, "What was that?" referring to the sound. It is definitely electronically enhanced in the interior, and was almost like an on/off switch on this high volume blast of sound . . .

You would think (hope)... but alas, no... ESE is clearly spelled out in the order guide for the Ecoboost and the GT, but not for the DH... though every DH asbuilt file I have looked at has ESE enabled!

Mine is the Dark Horse, and it pretty clearly is noticed at the extreme (Track Mode, 6-7000 rpm full throttle) that something electronically enhanced is going on. It is not so seamless as to be "real" - this sudden blast of noise

Are the ANC mics present even in cars where ANC is disabled from the factory? Meaning, those of us with ANC turned off in module 727-01-01 from the factory, can we get ANC working simply by turning it on with Forscan?

So I talked to my Ford mechanic, he said he should be able to disable the Fake engine noise with the Ford FDRS (Ford Diagnostic and Repair System) .
