I just never noticed a difference with ANC or ESE in the GT when driving it, but I knew it was absolutely necessary to disable it if you plan on getting subs, b/c will emit buzzing/crackling sound from what I researched on car audio sites.
In my RAM Rebel I got system put in and they forgot to disable ANC. Lemme tell you it sounded terrible. Got it disabled and much better. IMO, disabling it makes your radio and speakers sound better b/c those extra frequencies being pumped through it are no longer there.
