an equivalent optioned 2026 is about $8000 than my 2024. these price increases are crazy. also, was the intelligent speed limiter deleted? the build and price shows that button blank on every configuration
Those 25% tariffs are kicking in. Engine from Canada, other parts from Mexico such as the steering wheel. Only Ford know the value of those items so no way we can see the real cost but 25% on top for the engine will be a chunk of cash. Ford have said the tariffs will cost them $2bn, but pretty sure I know who will actually pay as the price rises demonstrate.

So then should congress grant us an across the board equivalent tax rebate or cut?

To get leather if you have to move up to the 401A package.

That’s for leather trimmed seats. The full leather seats like my GT/CS has are no longer available at all.

My 24 GT fully loaded was $62K. I just spec’d out the 26’ (same as my 24’) and it came out to $67,500 and it’s missing some features lol.
There are a lot of year over year price increases…

I hope they don’t kill the Mustang by turning it into a 100K car. I do understand the macroeconomics are changing globally but…dang!!!

When the volatile market stabilizes I assume prices will stabilize and maybe even come down- hopefully.

Why? Everybody should have purchase few S650 back in '24
Yeah, does kinda get that first year perk, which is usually never recommended.

I assume an American buyer would like it better to see the dollars of the increased price be spent for a manufacturing in the US instead of for import taxes for parts manufactured in Canada or Mexico.

On the other hand, taxes can be renegotiated whereas newly built fab shops cannot be closed that quickly.
Tricky.

Fucking tariffs bro, this is depressing as hell. Hopefully there's a light at the end of the tunnel, maybe Ford/Toyota/GM/Stellantis, all the brands who are, or recently made RWD performance coupe platforms could get together and develop a platform to drastically reduce costs, with differentiations in styling and powertrains but sharing the rest of the platform. That's the only way I can see sports cars becoming affordable again.

Did any body noticed that the GT premium will not include the single dash panel housing any more unless you go with the higher trim level?

Car making is a global industry with global supply chains that are well established. Short term political shenanigans will have little impact long term. Words are one thing, deeds another.

Assuming that is not 100% true and I am an American buyer. Everything that gets sold on the worldwide market needs to be sourced from the worldwide market.

When looking at Harley Davidson company, there are consumers that believe these motorcycles are 100% American made and sourced. That is a big fat misconception.

Does assuming include or exclude everything?

wonder why the world would want to manufacture american products?
