OP… discourse aside, you’re gonna really enjoy it supercharged, I’d go straight to a whipple stage 2 kit.

I immediately noticed the few extra hundred lbs of TQ, even in lower rpm cruising situations a must! And then the car will of course have the HP to wring out through the rpm’s

I’m a Michigan guy too, this forum has people from all over and not everyone understands our car culture here

I went long tubes, whipple stage 2, BAP and just run it on E30, everything is super well engineered to work together.
🍻
What BAP are you running? And with stock injectors? Injector duty cycle isn't clipping or close to it?

Thanks brother I am pretty disappointed with the animosity and ignorance of some of the people on this forum.

I love all cars and love to see what people own, have owned or will be owning. Plenty of cars I can never afford (Bugatti Chiron) but I applaud those who can.
There's always a few A-holes on every forum. But I think you'll find it's generally limited to a few individuals rather than the entire group here. At least the mods stepped in and deleted some of the vitriol.

Glad you chose to stick around. Let us know how the SC install goes. 👍🏻

The VMP plug n play. Me and dozens of others if not hundreds of others have zero issues with BAP/E30/pulley

I’d be far far more concerned with getting cats off.

Any idea what boost and pulley size would avoid overheating for 25-30 minutes on a track?

This discussion is entertaining. 😁

I don't know which cars you guys are comparing the interior of Mustang to, but from my perspective it's good for the money they sell it for here in the EU. It's even cheaper than the crappy Golf 8.5 R that has even worse interior than Mustang.

Golf R = 72k USD (for demo car)
Mustang = 67k USD (my car from EU stock)

And if I compare the price lists for the same configurations of Mustang vs. Golf R vs. BMW M2/M4 (the only BMWs that have manual transmissions), it looks like this:

Mustang = 82k USD
Golf 8.5R = 84k USD
BMW M2 = 104k USD
BMW M4 = 134k USD

I know that BMW are better (but there are also complaints about qualitty of interiors of new BMWs), but they are much more expensive.

So I keep comparing the Mustang to the Golf and I'm completely fine with the interior quality (and also the quality of the car as a whole) in this comparison (I currently have the Golf 8.5 1.5 TSI Rline Variant for 48k USD!!! in my possession, so I can compare with a clear conscience and say how shitty the Golf's interior is.)

It's frustrating, because many of us live in emissions testing areas where this is a problem.
if you have hp tuners its not
just make sure to set it to no error reported for all the cat codes before you take them off and the test will always pass

not that i would have ever done that🤣

the only place this does not work is CA and maybe MA

as they check the ecu checksum

all other states if your readiness monitors are all good and no codes you are good
works for me in PA and NY

What is RAPIDPASS?

RAPIDPASS is the optional on-road emissions inspection program in Northern Virginia. RAPIDPASS allows a motorist to simply drive through an on-road RAPIDPASS system to complete their emissions test. Upon notification of a clean emissions result, motorists can conveniently pay for their emission inspection on-line and proceed with their vehicle registration renewal.”

The Mustang is twice as expensive than the golf R in my country in Europe. We are so different 😂
