This is exactly what I was talking about in my previous post about my friend who owns a couple of exotics, and how stupid and jealous some people act toward him when hes just minding his own business and enjoying his hobby. If you are that threatened by people who have the means to collect expensive cars, then maybe the ego is in the mirror and not in the other car. Just sayin. 😉

The majority of you guys have been welcoming and pleasant. I won’t let the couple of idiots on this thread define the group.

Glad to be here and learn from you guys about
my Mustang.

Cool story bro.
Also, NHTSA doesn't have authority in Switzerland. You know... where Susten pass is.
sofa king cool.

Also also, aktshually, Just the BMWs delivered to Switzerland are defective?

If there was a widespread issue of brake failure on BMWs, the NHTSA or /other/ relevant agency in a large market would be looking into it.

Well Mr. Buddy - I think you should SC your Mustang, I think that's the answer you were looking for - Yes...?

Go with the Ford Performance Whipple and have a Certified tech install it and you will keep somewhat of a warranty on the drivetrain. Keep in mind when you do this - if you do, that warranty IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE therefore if you should sell (before the 3 year 36000) the car won't have the drivetrain warranty transferred to the new owner it dies with the sale ...

I know happened to us, and you can choose not to believe it, go forth and live life comfortable in your belief there isn't a widespread problem. The abs module failed and in the fault condition, which the dash dutifully reports as a brake problem, there is no pressure to the brake system at all. It can either remain in the fault or fail over to normal braking(?) anyway, when the latter happens and you're fully applying the brakes, suddenly, you have full brakes, and you're locked up immediately. And it reset with an ignition cycle. We put in at Bergamo or just north of it and the local dealer knew what it was.

What kind of warranty do you get?

I'm your Daddy.

Look here.
https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/th...go-with-ford-performance-supercharger.169438/

Just read through. There really several other threads discussing it, as well, in addition to resources outside of the forum.

The basic answer is that there is a limited drivetrain warranty from Whipple, and some question whether it will fix problems it causes or merely defray the cost. There is a dollar limit. There are also all sorts of exclusions. I think it is also a one time warranty, that is, a lifetime payout, and then they do not pay anything the second time.

With all of that having been said, I have never seen anybody reporting here a warranty claim, so . . . maybe it is a pretty safe boost level and tune.

Also, I think that the calibrations are on hold right now, so if you actually purchased one today, you could not have it installed this weekend. They are predicting a release at some point in October. Nobody knows what the issue is here on the forum, but there is all sorts of speculation.

I disagree with this.....I have driven S550 Super Snakes....the Ford Performance S550 Shelbys are far superior in terms of balance.......the S550 Super Snake I drove was more cars and coffee focused then track focused....

Dark Horse plus Whipple is where I would put my money if I wanted forced induction on a new Mustang.....or wait to see what is coming soon from Ford......I think there is something special about to be launched ......
The 24/25 Super Snake is all new, not the S550 build; a mustang gt plus:
  • 830+ horsepower supercharger system
  • Shelby extreme cooling system
    (radiator, heat exchanger)
  • Shelby by Borla exhaust system
  • Performance half shafts
  • Short throw shifter (manual only)
  • Hardened extended wheel studs
  • Shelby suspension system
  • 20” forged magnesium alloy wheels
  • Shelby performance spec tires
  • Shelby brake rotor upgrade (Vehicle retains factory brake calibers, color may vary)
  • Shelby spec interior upgrade
  • Embroidered floor mats
  • Shelby shifter ball (manual only)
  • Super Snake door sill plates
  • Serialized dash plaque
  • Serialized engine plaque
  • Engine cap set
  • Cobra puddle lamps (if equipped)
  • Aluminum Super Snake® hood
  • Hood pin locks
  • Carbon fiber hood extractors
  • Carbon fiber Wide Body front fenders
  • Front fender vents
  • Wide Body front fascia assembly
    • Upper, lower, outboard grilles
    • Lower front splitter
    • Front splitter supports
    • Carbon fiber splitter wickers
  • Side rocker assembly
  • Carbon fiber rocker wickers
  • Rear ducktail spoiler
  • Carbon fiber Super Snake® rear wing (coupe only)
  • Carbon fiber rear lower diffuser
  • Super Snake® striping and badging
  • Tinted windows (Per State Regulations)
Dark Horse with a Whipple. Each to his own. I'd rather have the snake if I wanted a 7th gen track race car. Only manual trans for me. Won't do paddles i.e. GT 500 which is probably what Ford will do for 26 (hope not).

cheap?

US designed car interiors are like children's toys compared to almost any other manufacturer on the planet, except for cars that are destined for the US Market.

The interiors of every toyota I have owned in the last 20 years, and I have owned 5, are far superior to any Ford I have owned in the same time period and that number is also 5

If you watch any of the Top Gear re-runs when it was Clarkson, May and Hammond, any time they had an American car in a comparison to a Euro car, the universal complaint was the cheap plastic and textures in the US cars.

The worst American car I ever owned as far as interiors go was my 94 Corvette

The best car I ever owned as far as interior was a Porsche
That's like saying an one girl is hotter than another because her knickers are made in Milan.
