No worries, I'm always there for people in need.

LOL, in all seriousness... all good man. We'd get along great in person. The internet looses something when it comes to communication. 🍻

I didn't see this conversation until now, but I know exactly what he's talking about.

Where did you enable options for the auto-lock in forscan? I'd imagine you'd need two modules modified, BCM and APIM (the latter will enable it on the screen). This is based on my previous knowledge of forscan. I haven't gone too deep into this car yet.

I can't remember the HEX value I tried. I was working with my buddy who is a complete FORScan guru. Like livnitup but on steroids. He works with FORScan directly on new versions and updating plain English options etc. Anyways, he had me try the APIM location and value he had for Auto Lock in HEX and it had the same effect as when I tried it in plain English. No joy. On both my SD and Nautilus, the plain English version worked perfectly but can't say if it modified both the APIM and BCM.

Hi everyone I am having an issue I have a 400a GT Premium I have changed the door sills out that weren’t illuminated and plugged in new ones that are illuminated that are a oem part into the connector. I have no idea when I got the car if it did this in the video but all the cars I have seen doesn’t do this. So this video I have posted is showing that when I turn my car off everything besides the sills goes white when the ambient lighting is supposed to stay the same color. if somebody can point me in the right direction I’d greatly appreciate it.

That is completely normal if I'm seeing a color change when you open the door. Ford and Lincoln do it on all their vehicles to indicate a door ajar situation.

A German company sells programming to get memory headlight settings.

If you had your lights off when the car was on, and you turn the car on again, the lights will stay off.

If you had your lights on (not on auto) and yiu turn the car on again, the lights will turn back on.

This is actually a very nice upgrade and I wonder what this is called in Forscan. I also feel blind jot figuring this one out since I read all Forscan lines in all modules.

Anybody has an idea what Forscan line this is to activate it?

I have a feeling that this could be one of the many police settings that are mentioned in the spreadsheet.

Here is the text the company advertises with;

Headlight Switch Memory Function: Stay in Control After Every Ignition
Discover the advanced programming of the headlight switch memory function for your vehicle. This smart feature remembers your last light setting and automatically restores it after each ignition cycle. Whether you're heading out for a night hunt or on a discreet surveillance job – you’ll appreciate the comfort and reliability it provides.

Your benefits with the memory function:
  • Easy to use: No need to reset your lights after each start – your vehicle remembers your last setting.
  • Great for special missions: Especially helpful during hunting or surveillance, where consistent lighting can be crucial.
  • Time-saving: Your preferred setup stays active without effort – no more fiddling with the switch.
  • Improved safety: Prevent unexpected lighting changes when starting the vehicle.
Common use cases:
  • Hunting: Keep your lighting configuration steady during night rides in the hunting area.
  • Surveillance: For discreet situations, your light settings stay exactly how you need them – reliably and unnoticed.

Any idea?

It is doable. I'm not sure if the location is the same as other Ford products but on the Super Duty it is in BodyCM/BCM. Give this a try...
