Oil temps in your engine above 212 deg F is a good for the evaporation of water and unburned fuel in your engine oil.If it 47 degrees outside, and his oil temp is at 228????
It is August in Georgia, and mine typically sits around 190.
However intake temps way above outside temperatures is not a good thing. Cooler air is more dense and improves the efficiency of the combustion process in your engine leading into better fuel efficiency and higher output.
