That was just the tune. The other parts were in the baseline number. So custom tuning increased horsepower by 4%, or, stated another way, adding the aftermarket parts (headers, ported intake, etc.) added horsepower, but left 4% on the table using the stock Ford tune. It's kind of a lot when you think about it that way.That seems like a lot of hassle and $ for just +20-25hp, a 4% gain over stock.
20-25 horsepower was not the increase over the stock engine as delivered, but just the difference in tuning alone.
I hope I stated all of that clearly and did not confuse matters by garbling it all up.
