KN is having a sale on their replacement air filters for the s650, I am wondering if any of you have tried them or are using them in your GT and wonder if they make much of a difference at all? Thanks...

There are a few threads that address your question. With that, I’ve had my GT for about 10 weeks. I’ve had the stock filters, K&N, and Steeda with the Pro-flow intake. I prefer the look of the Steeda intake over the stock intake. Other than that there is very little felt difference. Save your dollars wear the stock filter out and then purchase a quality standard filter. Heck, there are several additions that can be made that can make life easier for less $. My 2 cents.
I don't like K&N, even though I used to be able to buy them at cost. I've seen too many tests where they flow minimally more air and filter a lot less than stock.
And, people tend to overoil them.
What Lou said. If it were me; I'd go to a life time dry filter (no oiling or cleaning) that had proven flow and filtration over OEM. Good luck with whatever you go with!
K&N is trash for all the reasons stated above. Hard pass.
I personally stick with the factory filters as I live is a dusty climate and daily my car. If I wanted to upgrade, I would go with a quality dry filter.
@ZXMustang ..... Roush sell super high quality filters that can be washed many, many times and they also send a technical sheet with them. I have used them. I think at one time AFE made them for Roush and still may. Waaaaay better than crap oiled filters.
