I’m looking at this kit on LMR for the performance pack upgrade brembos and was unsure about the rears as they don’t sell a kit has anybody bought this kit and what have you done to the rears? Thanks in advance

That's not the same as the Brembo brake upgrade available on Mustangs. The pictured calipers are 4 piston and the ones from Ford are 6 piston (keep in mind the picture isn't necessarily a pic of the actual kit for sale---it may just be a stock photo of a Brembo kit).

If it were me, and I was considering their kit I'd speak directly with a Customer Service Rep to verify whether the kit duplicates the Brembo upgrade option.

Good luck!

Just as curiosity. Why didn't you get the performance pack that comes with brembo brakes?
Didn’t really need it really going for the look but it’s an upgrade as well

You don't need the performance pack to get the 6 piston Brembo's. Plus not everyone chose to special order a car with those specs.

I looked into this as well. I found the exact car I wanted minus the brembos on a dealer lot. I couldn't justify passing on it as I got it for a ridiculous price.

That LMR kit is the same brake package as the Mach 1. Those cars had standard rear brakes that were just painted and no one noticed. You can easily do the same to yours.

As of right now you'd have to buy the upgraded rears from Ford piece by piece and it's ridiculously expensive.

If it's just looks your after, just paint them. The 4 piston are plenty good for the street as is.

If you're going for the look, how are you with a rattle can and paint stencils?

Maybe LMR has covers you could get. But they may not match.

I can't imagine those red calipers are a custom color. I'm sure you could buy red caliper paint to match pretty easily.

As of right now, no one seems to sell caliper covers specifically for the S650. Though I'd bet the S550 ones would probably fit.

My Brembos are standard. Not blue or red. I'd get blue 💙 if I could.
