How do you turn this off- seat belt sign

How do I turn this off? It appears everytime during startup or when parked. Sometimes I want to look at the oil temps before I start driving. And yes I do wear seat belts when driving.

Me too. Ford has taken advantage of the computerization to play "big brother". I hate that sh-t too. I guess they think only stupid people buy Mustangs.

There was another thread on this a while back and iirc there is no way to turn it off. You just have to hit ok on the steering wheel

Definitely annoying. You can disable it with FORScan if you're brave enough.

If there was a simple DISABLE/ENABLE in Forscan I would do that in a heartbeat! I don’t mess with a bunch of digit changes and risk screwing-up a bunch of things!

i think there is a way to disable it with FORScan, but it involves telling the vehicle certain seats either do not have seat belts or do not exist. this change has a chance of making the seat belt pretensioners and seat airbags not deploy in an accident, though

You can deselect that in the menu system... Doesn't eliminate it, but it will show for 60 seconds and then disappear.

If it disappeared after 30-60 seconds I'd be fine it. Should have come like that from the factory.

Start button without brake engaged. I just scroll to the gage page. Then hit the start button. Easy.

This screen with the orange/yellow border will not go away unless you put your seatbelt on or open the door the (ok) button can't skip it

the splash screen that you can skip with (ok) will not have that orange/yellow border
