I can't understand this Nite Horse thing of a black roof. Black badges, mirror covers, ok. But a roof ?

Your car looks awesome. I think I would have liked a white one if not the Grabber blue. I would do the roof black. And like others say if you dont like the wrap you could remove it, but you could always just have it painted back to white also.

I like the black roof look, but it's all personal preference. +1 for the wrap over the paint, which is what I just did (Dark Matter Gray car, also here in CA) for $500. Shop did it with gloss black PPF since that will last longer in the sun compared to a standard vinyl wrap. I'd shop around for a better price than what you got if you decide to go that route.

personal opinion I think the black roof and black or tarnished grey wheels look good together.

Everything costs more in Cali, if price is not an issue I would wrap it. If it wasn’t ordered with the black roof, then I personally would not paint it. But it is your Mustang, make it your own and how you want it. That’s what’s most important. Not what others think! LMAO!

Black roofs have been a “thing” for decades. Some folks like them, some don’t. Same as any other mod.
You're kids kids will want to paint their foods white no matter the color of the car, badges and rims will be left unfinished so the oxidize. When you're in a wheelchair in the old folks home they'll be playing disco and saying this is the music from your days. Your face will be turning red because you can no longer yell out "Stop!!!" That's if they don't blow us all up by then. 😇💥💥💥

Why wouldn’t you paint it? Considering how thin the paint seems on these S650s, I feel like a good paint shop could improve it.

i had my roof wrapped gloss black about a year and a half ago and its been doing great so far. the car sits outside for half the day and inside for the other half for 5 of the 7 days of the week. i have had no issues apart from self-inflicted ones like not removing some stuff quick enough and now there's a permanent spot. i will eventually get it painted, but i will also be doing a full vehicle PPF at that time to prevent paint damage. really, i say get it wrapped and let it stay for a while. if you still like it after a year or two, make the jump to a painted black roof

They have matte and gloss black PPF wrap so if you wrap it you can PPF it at the same time - I did it on a white car I think it looks good ...

Looks great with a white roof.
IMO a black roof would be a distraction. I personally like it white and myself I have the ember blue with black roof, tinted blacked out windows including front windshield at a 45 percent, and black wheels. While waiting for my DH to arrive the local dealership got a white gt and I almost bought it instead because I was getting very tired of waiting . The white is cool but I'm so glad I waited for my Dark Horse.

It looks really good on white cars. Especially with dark tint.

A year ago I had a shop paint the mirror caps and spoiler gloss black to match the grille and hood vents. They did a great job, and I was a lot happier with the car. I also installed the Nite Pony badges around that time, which I think flowed better.

Now, I’m debating whether to paint the roof the same color to match or leave it white. It looks nice as is, but the black looks great on white Nite Ponies. I definitely don’t want to do black headlamps or wheels, but I think the roof would look cool.

Top two photos are of mine. Bottom two are Nite Ponies. Thoughts?

Don't make the roof black. Black roofs on white cars don't look good. Just another opinion.
