Why's Ford not allowing people to tune the S650 Mustang?

My shop's solution seems to be going with high flow cats and gutting them. I'm told the car should still pass emissions. So far so good, although it's only been months and not years, so IDK how much help that is.

The whole point of this thread is tuning for the S650. Yes, there is a supercharged car in the high 8s now. We've known about Whipple, Roush, and now Pro Charger. Now we see a guy claiming that his TT 2024 is making 1000 + on the dyno and that kits are coming soon. That means something differnt than a blower and should be faster and quicker.

I just got my stage 2 Whipple so it doesn't matter much to me and my car is also a MT so I'll be stuck in the low 10s. I don't know how to drive an automatic so I'm good with that. BUT, there is something new happening worthwhile with S650 TT options brewing.

Where are the 6 second Whipple cars?

Once you get to the 7's the majority of the cars are turbo or centrifugal. Easier to get them to hook and run down the track. All of the fast GT-R's, Lambos, etc all run turbos as well.

Sure, top fuel runs superchargers but that's apples and oranges.
