No, you paid for the Recaro's, not the standard seats.

I've heard of them being swapped out by a dealer, however if you dealer would do that remains a mystery.

If you paid for both, you can go back to the dealer and ask where the standard seats are. It's not that professional from your dealership that they forget to give you an extra set of seats that you also paid for.

Sometimes the extra seats that you ordered can come in later than your vehicle because they have to order it.

But yeah, mistakes happen. Just go back and remind them of their mistake.

I'm confused now, what do you mean "it came with Recaros? Did you pay for the Recaros as an extra item and had the dealer uninstall your heated/cooled seats? Or did you buy the DH with the Recaros already in the car?

If you ordered it with recaros, that selection deletes the standard seats... likewise if you bought it off of a lot, it only comes with the seats that are in it... unless you made arrangements at time of purchase for an additional set of seats (likely at additional charge)... then by all means go get them.

thats actually not true. i helped someone else put the normal seats in their recaros dark horse, and they worked perfectly aside from the lack of memory functions

That's what I mean with they will not work.
If you want to get them to work like factory you need different harness in the door, different panel, and buttons.

He said he paid for the seats. So he also paid for all the options the seats come with.

Should I tell him his side mirrors don't have turn signals while he paid for them too?
If he would say this about the side mirrors instead of the seats, I would understand, because that doesn't make any sense.

No, you didn't. The $ the normal seats cost was added to the extra $ you paid to get the Recaros.
