Recaro seat seat belt holder loop

I have the recaros and every single time I go to put my seat belt on. It comes out of the little loop holding it. Has any1 come up with a solution or a product to hold that in place. I don't want to use tape.

I just reseat the seat belt in the seat belt ‘guide’ when I get out.

Try a 4 or 6 point harness...the Recaro's like them best. And, they keep your ass in the seat better.

I really have never noticed if I use them. I do know that if I put the passenger window down and go fast the seat belt makes a hell of a noise as it flaps around.

There is an etsy store that sells a guide hook that replaces the stock guide cover. I helped my mother install it this weekend. The only downside I can think of is that it may be difficult to remove the seatbelt from the guide once it's installed.

I installed on my DH, very easy install, just pop off the plastic cap covering the screw and this screws on top. After 1mo, it works pretty well. There is still room at the top if you need to get the belt out you don't have to remove the unit.

For those interested in seeing the Etsy 3D-printed seatbelt holder installed, here are 2 pics. The second one with the red oval shows the gap where, if needed, you can slip the seatbelt out without holder removal.

It was maybe a better design if they made it a clip, so it would be easier to remove the seatbelt from that position.

For the guys that bought that seat belt guide off of Etsy. Does it feel flimsy? Is it good quality. I see it's 3d printed in was trying to find a print file for it but can't. So now I might just buy it. Is the quality good?

i went through two pairs of the etsy holders. you have to make sure the little tooth from the seatbelt holder grabs the top part of the OEM seatbelt guide. If it doesn’t sit flush, the guide will have a bit of a space and the seatbelt will pop out when putting on. Also, it’ll be a bit loose and idiots at the car wash will try to pull on it thinking it’s a lever (hence why i went through two pairs)

I'm struggling with the same problem.
The problem is that the belt loop needs to be positioned higher. Like on the GT350. But it isn't.

What I don't like about the Etsy belt holder is that it's closed. And the belt isn't held in its natural position. Normally, you have a magnetic clip or Velcro so that it can be opened easily.

I found something from JDM, also available for cheaper at Ali. I'll order and report back on.
