Has anyone had a rattle coming from the rear seats? I have one that seems to go away when I fold the rear seats down. I assume it has something to do with the rear seat latch but I'm not sure. Wanted to see if anyone that had this rattle was able to find the source.
I have a ticking noise from the right rear side. The sound is clearly visible when turning or on rough roads. I thought it was from the suspension system, so I went to the dealership and they tightened everything under the car, and the noise returned. I went to a workshop, and they put the technician inside the trunk of the car, and he confirmed that he heard the noise from above inside the car. I folded the right rear seat and the noise disappeared completely, and when I put the seat back on, the noise returned, which confirms to me that it is from the seat latch. Do I need to replace it, or is there a better procedure?

I had the same issue last year and all you need to do is lubricate it. Mine has never returned.

I had the same. Lower the back seats and see if there are 2 rubber adhesive strips (between plastic and metal leading into the trunk) that have come unglued/shifted. In my case, I just re-glued them for both seats with gorilla glue and the Styrofoam-like high-pitched squeaking went away.
