For me it was hard to see where the front end of the car was a low speeds and the rear visibility was really bad. The long hood and high fenders gave me some depth perception issues and I never felt comfortable driving that car in a parking lot.
I totally agree…I had mine for 4 1/2 years and I could never get used to it like parking way too far from curbs not to damage the splitter and always stayed away from drive throughs because I was afraid of curb rash on the rims…I mean a shame as GM build a good chassis as the small block is a good if not exiting powerplant but they totally effed up with the lack of practicality , cheap interior and squeaks and rattles…That is why I wanted to buy a DH but ended up with a Challenger WB which I liked after the first testdrive and after a good 6 month/6000 miles starting to think we will have a long and happy relationship because she is good looking and a lot of fun…🤣 Maybe one day I give the 2027 Boss 5.8 or M2 CSL a try…😉

Again with the M2 on a MUSTANG group 🙄

Did you not see the name of the thread? Just put me on your ignore list and do us both a favor. Also I have been posting on this forum a hell of a lot more than you have and I had an S550 Mustang. Are you that threatened and triggered?

Some people just don't understand forum etiquette. :)

Nice M2. I have a MY25 M240i XDrive on order in Thundernight Metallic. Doing a short term lease so I can get the M2 XDrive when it's available. I need the AWD for a daily. The fact that it can hit 60 in under 4 seconds and the quarter mile in 12 seconds flat is a bonus as well - and that's even before a piggyback tune.

You can get the M2 now in Twilight Purple Metallic. A Xdrive M2 is supposedly rumored to be a 2026 model and it could also be the end of the manual transmission in the M2. Which is sort of accelerated in my purchase of the G87 now. I wanted to make sure I got a manual.

A M2 now with manual tranny has run 0-60 in 3.8 and ran a 12.2@119mph. An Xdrive 8spd ZF tranny car will be a low 3 sec 0-60 and a low 11 sec car.

BTW, here is an M2 with not a lot of mods that ran a 9.6@146mph. He has an E40 tune with unlocked DME, uncatted dp, midpipe and Michey Thompson slicks. He also removed passenger and rear seats.

I don't get why the M2 is mentioned as a competitor to the Mustang so many times.
Have you ever seen one or parked your own Mustang right next to an M2?
The latter looks like a toy car compared to the Stang.
Take a seat in it and you feel like in a Mini or Fiat 500.
And last but not least, THE thing that makes the Stang so special for a still somewhat affordable coupe or vert is that it's a large car with an V8 engine.
M2 doesn't check one of these basic boxes.

The Mustang is definitely larger than it needs to be, but I'm not sure if I would call the Mustang a large car compared to say the Challenger
