Has anyone else heard/seen this?

Apparently it was duplicated information, even though it was just posted this morning.

A lot of people got this email, but no where in the email does it say anything about production not starting until Sept.

Its not an email.
The article/link you posted literally said RacerX got an email explaining the halt in production. What I am saying is that where is the Sept 2024 production timeframe restart coming from? It was not in the email sent to those who placed orders. One article says that date, but nowhere can anyone yet confirm this. Too me, unless it's reported from a valid source (not Hotcars.com), I'm not into playing into rumors.

Look y'all I get it... I want my car as well and I still haven't gotten that 45 day sorry email, but are we really wanting Ford to rush this thing into production just so we have it in our garages? I say give them all be the time they need to get this launch right. A few months of waiting for the car to be built is better than a few months in the shop. I actually applaud Farley for making sure this launch is done right. That said, it will really suck getting a car with summer only tires in December. I guess at least I can look at the car sitting in my garage until it warms up? 😕

Gotcha! I agree - I'm hesitant to accept the new "September" information. That is why I brought it here, so people can confirm/disprove it.

Says the guy from GA LOL. Some of us on here have actual winters.

The tires would be the least of my concerns. The car should be parked during the winter, especially when its brand new. It shouldn't be immediately subject to snow, ice, salt, and rock chips.

Touche'! However it does get cold at elevation where I live (in the mountains) so we do see cold temps ( and ice/snow). Definitely below 45 where summer only tires don't like it, but I get it. Winter is waaaaay worse for those of y'all up north. Hoping y'all get your cars first.

Oh there is definitely truth to that. Most summer tires will not like those temperatures at all.

What i'm worried about a winter delivery is the tires cracking.
In 2018 when i bought a C7 Corvette, GM specifically said the tires on the car should not be driven in freezing temps for risk of them cracking up and several people did go through that before the memo came out.
Not sure which summer-only tires will be on the Mustangs, but that could be an issue.

I hope Tire Rack has a large supply of all season tires for the 24 mustang in stock... It's coming

Thanks for posting! RacerX has been pretty wrong about the S650 in recent history more than once, giant grain of salt with this story.

That is great to hear. I'd be sick if we received official news stating that production is to resume in September. I really want a fun car (that I'll be able to drive for at least a month or so) before winter lol.
