So in reality it's better to just not do x-plan. I'll have more negotiating power?
I can't speak to that in terms of leasing, I don't have any experience with it because I have always purchased my vehicles by financing

I believe the dealer gets money back from Ford on X-Plan plus holdback is usually at least $1K. What exactly are you negotiating in a lease? The lease payment is controlled by residual and this being a new model what data is there? I doubt Ford would offer lease plans on this vehicle at launch, if ever. Dodge did it with the Challenger so anything is possible. Ford doesn't seem to be pushing leases much anymore on anything but volume vehicles.

I ordered with x-plan in August. The pricing in my contract shows an 1800 dollar savings vs Internet price on premium ecoboost. I m set for build week 10/26. Expect delivery late November.

The first time I paid used my X-plan I told them I had it but past that they never verified it or anything. I had the code and never ended up using it.

I'm using X-plan again this time at a different dealership so I'm somewhat curious to see if they will ask me for my pin this time either. It's going to end up saving me about $3k this time though so definitely worth it.

Dealers make their money on F 150 s, focuses and fusions
Focus and Fusion? Seriously? There's no markup in a Focus at all. I have a private offer that I can't use with D Plan that is bigger than the D Plan discount on a Focus. Fusions aren't much more.

X plan does not cost the dealer anything. Paid by Ford.
Not true. This is true of A/Z/D plan, but not X plan.

Began looking at the new mustang, logged into the X-Plan site with my EAA membership and there's an additional $750 rebate right there... good through 1/3/15.

May be an option to grab a rebate over booklet shenanigans.
EAA membership?

Even if you have MCA, $40 membership would get you the rebate as well:
Thanks! That is interesting. I wonder if that $750 could be combined with the $750 Owner Loyalty Cash coupon that I got with the brochure that I received the other day?

I don't see where the one I have says that it can't be combined, but I suppose it's possible that it's just assumed that you can only use one offer?

If you're curious about all the possible rebates, your dealer can look them all up. There's quite a list. Then you have to find out if you qualify for any of them and go get a code from the proper location.

I'm pretty sure they can be combined.

That's pretty slick if you could pull it off... 40 bucks for the EAA membership and a few minutes ordering a couple of brochures online could save an additional $1500 off of X-Plan?

I have my X-Plan Pin already, through MCA, and a $750 Loyalty Cash certificate and I am planning to place my order as soon as next weekend. Thinking that it might be worthwhile to spend another $40 for the EAA membership if I can save an additional $750.

Appreciate the info.

Just ask your dealer, tell him you're an eaa member and want to know if the offer would combine with the loyalty cash. He can see the offer, because I went in to my dealer yesterday and remember the eaa offer in the list, but didn't know how to qualify.

One of my local dealers offered me $250 below invoice plus their dealer handling fee of $499. I can do x-plan but using USAA with Truecar I'll get a better interest rate without the hassle of X-plan :-)

Thee brochure reads "May not combine with other private, conquest, or commercial offers". Does the eCertificate say anything like that? Or does it say private cash on it anywhere? Can you post a clip of the your eCertificate (without the bar code or personal info.) It might be helpful for us to figure out if it is possible. Hate to spend even $40 just to find out it is not. Thanks!
