Ok. I am no dash cam expert. But, well, they are not all displayed with that fisheye look, right? I mean, the Garmin seems to be advertising this "wide angle" feature, and you are not going to get a wider angle without distorting the view on the screen. Right? Or am I wrong somehow?The dash cam doesn’t know what it needs to focus on. Having a wider angle means it’s considerably more likely to catch what it needs to. Unlike a scope that you are very intentionally pointing at one specific thing.
