When I get the Unable to connect message, it says that using a VPN would prevent it from connecting. I go off the VPN and it connects.Hello all. New member here. I picked up my 2025 base GT 6spd about a week ago and haven't been able to get wireless Android Auto to work. I start the process but my phone (Galaxy S24) screen shows that the car's software or settings aren't up to snuff for Android Auto to work.
Any ideas as to what is going on or what I need to do?
Thank you.
Not true. From memory, AA has to have initial set up done via cable, then select wireless.
Sync 3 did not have wireless AA or ACP.Not sure, wouldn't sync 3 have wireless? How far back are we talking?
OK, blame my memory.Not true.
Wifi is on and detecting/listing networksSounds like something isn't enabled on the phone or the cars wifi connection. What does it say under the wifi settings in the car?
I've never seen that before. But obviously something isn't syncing between your car and you phone. What phone are you using? So, finally remembered to try to connect to AA again and screenshot the error screen.
My car's date and time are correct and are set to auto update. Everything on my phone is updated and current. My phone connects to my other cars with AA perfectly fine.
Anyone know what Communication error 14 means?
I posted here in case someone had similar experience and a fix before going to the dealer. I don't know about other's experience but taking the car to the dealer is a time suck with high potential for further aggravation I'd rather avoid.
