I'm wondering if anyone out there is running a 20" rim with some wide rear tires that could share their specs and/or photos. It looks like most guys are running 19" rims with the wider setups but the rims I'm looking at just look better in the 20" size as the design is complex and the larger size spreads it out somewhat so it isn't overly busy. I'm wanting to run 315 or wider. I'm wondering if anyone out there has pushed it any wider than that on a 20" rim or just what it looks like if you are anywhere around ther on a 20" rim. I'm currently running stock 255/40/19 but I'm thinking the dealership could recalibrate my speedometer being they offer 20" rims from the factory.

What a coincidence, 315s are what I'm throwing on my 20" rims this weekend. I'll update when they're on with pics
Cool, I would really appreciate it. I'm interested in how much clearance is left between the sidewall of the tire and the shock or whatever would hit first if you notice that during install.

Check out the aggressive wheel/tire thread on the S550 site to get some ideas. Some are running 325 on the rear. Are you running wide for looks or performance? Also, not all manufacturers' tires are the same size width, despite what the sidewall says; Continentals tend to run a little narrower than Michelins.

I'm trying to run the widest rear drag radial I can to get out of the hole and improve my 60 foot times but I don't want a bunch of poke past the fender either. I'm willing to buy custom fully forged rims so I'm just trying to max out my investment. Depending on what I can find out I'm going to run 11.5 width fully forged if it allows to me run a wider tire without poke or skip forging and run 11.0 flow formed wheels if the 11.5 doesn't offer any benefit to my goal.

Widest we run flush to fender with no rubbing issues is a 20x11 50mm with a 315/30/20. Can still be lowered about an inch all around

I see you guys carry Vertini wheels. I'm trying to decide between the RotaryFlow Forged RFS1.9 and the Fully Forged VS21. Do you know what the typical weight difference is between RotaryFlow Forged and Fully Forged at the 20 inch size? Vertini lists the 20 x 11 RotaryFlow Forged at 26 lbs but weights aren't listed anywhere for the fully forged version.

Looks awesome man! I think you nailed it. A couple follow up questions if you could help me out.

1. I like the way your setup fills out the wheel wells. Is your car lowered?
2. Could you share the offsets on your rims ?
3. On that last picture about how much clearance do you have? It looks like the first thing that would hit is the shock?

1. nope, stock magneride system
2. 35mm front 50mm rear
3. hard to get a good measurement but its about 1-1 1/2 inches of space between the tire and shock

Nice, I'm guessing the shock is the first thing that would hit back there? Have you noticed any rubbing since driving it with your new setup? Do you have any pictures straight down the side kind of that would show how much the tires poke out of the fenders / rear quarter panels? It looks like your tires are flush or tucked pretty nice from the angled photos anyways.

I'll have to grab those photos after work but it's flush to ever so slight poke. No noticeable rubbing. Yeah the shock will be the first thing hit in the rear.
