Its just a peice of plastic. I call BS on anyone who thinks they are enough to make any measurable difference in heat. I personally like the looks with them on. But if you dont, just take it off. Easy easy. Was wondering. I know quite a few people that pop them off as soon as they get a new vehicle with them
No, people i know do not do it for heat. They do it because they want to see an engine. Its just a peice of plastic. I call BS on anyone who thinks they are enough to make any measurable difference in heat. I personally like the looks with them on. But if you dont, just take it off. Easy easy.
Now the flying saucer they put on top of the Gen 3 coyote GT was absolutely hideous.![]()
Gotcha. Thing is, there isnt much to see on a Coyote even with the cover off because of the overhead cams. Even the Mach 1 had to dress things up a little with the faux valve covers. But yeah, if you dont like it just take it off.No, people i know do not do it for heat. They do it because they want to see an engine.
