They are definitely out there but dealers tend to stock the autos since alot of people cant drive standards.... In Atlanta some dealers stock manuals at 50/50 probably but not nationally

I got a pretty great deal a couple years ago on a 2018 Camaro SS with a manual. It only had 23k miles and I picked it up for 30k. Dealer wanted 5k more but let it go because they couldn't sell it due to the manual. Sometimes you can get a better deal on them just because the buyer pool is so much smaller.

Around there a stick will def cut down on carjacking; I have these stickers left quarter window and left rear glass of current and will bring a set to put on anything before I drive it home. Between those and my bad paint I can drive anywhere in West Palm and they either can't drive it or think I'm poor and it's a piece of junk.

I bet the dealer inventory buys are more like 90-95% auto, unless Ford forces a slight push of manuals. Not that many younger buyers interested in manuals anymore, or even know how to use them! Sort of sad, but that is how we are ending up with EVs and no tranny at all! Agree if you want a particular set of options, you do a custom order with a decent dealer and get the best deal you can. That was my strategy of my 2024 GT Premium and I got it about 5% off MSRP plus a very nice 36-month 1.9% loan with only $1000 down! It's worth it to have exactly what you want though! Especially if you plan to keep the car a few years. Why get stuck paying anything for options you don't want that badly? Mustangs aren't that expensive compared to other comparable cars after all! Just my two cents.........

I'm old enough to remember when drivers chiding other drivers about their power steering and power brakes as being for sissies. And I remember (I believe it was Csaba Csere?) who quipped about ABS (sic) 'Oh great! Now drivers can slid through a slick intersection straight ahead!' Nowadays manual gearbox drivers are chiding automatic drivers similarly. That's coming full circle, especially so, when in a few years the odds of buying a manual will be very slim indeed.

Actually they already are. If you want a V8 with a stick for '26 it's a 5.0 for a coupe/vert and Blackwing for a sedan and that's it. What a horrible time to be alive.

So are you going to actually buy an S650 or just continue to spam the forum with old man topics?
Idk; depends how work goes.

All of the Ecoboost Mustangs are autos since the 2024 model year. So there must be plenty of GTs with manuals, but not in my area. If I look online for new Mustang GTs in the Nashville-to-Knoxville area, they are almost all automatics. And forget about Performance Pack. There is a 100% probability that when I am ready, I will be special ordering.

I was this close to pulling the trigger on a manual CT4-V Blackwing for a similar price as the GT. I decided the lack of V8 was a deal breaker and I didnt have another 50k sitting around. What a sick car though!

Yeah I like the CT5-V Blackwing although it looks like there are only three mods for it; a full exhaust, a throttle body and a CAI. Not that a 668hp car needs mods but still. Also I was surprised when I surveyed some eligible foxy grandmas and most preferred the Mustang even with its harsher ride and lower stance.
