I have to confess, I find I have to focus on using paddles, but even driving a manual LHD car became natural after 5 minutes.
I also think left hand drive is the natural and correct way to drive.

If you can’t find what you want, go to a dealer that will play things honest and just custom order it. Good things come to those who wait… just like the old commercials said!

Sorry, paddles is not even close to driving a stick. Kids these day's either have their girlfriend drive or are to impatient to learn how to drive a stick well. When it's so easy to get in and just push the gas. So they can give all their attention to their phones.
there u go another one, kids these days comment...

Let me just tell you all from experience, the 10r80 is NOT an ā€œamazing transmission ā€œ by any means.
Nothing better than having a clutch, full control and engagement with your sports car.
You auto guys are delusional telling yourself the paddles are the same thing… lol

No my friend. I am 40 and sick and tired of sticks play and clutching 24/7 all my life. I am a bus driver and god thanks for AT. GT is my first automatic and never ever ever in my life stick can come back in my life. That is how it is.

No um, to me all you can do fun in an auto is speed and spin tires from a dig; I'd rather do tricks and have full control.

Granted it is more consistent and faster, and you get more thigh time with your passenger princess, and you can eat, drink and otherwise multitask more easily. But still.
Rarity is that which makes it unique. It’s easy to catch an automatic sleeping.

most manuals are awaiting orders.

Same for me. But remember, we are from Europe.

In the United States it's a flex to say you drive manual, because many there can't drive. So when you say you drive auto, they want to "flex" on you. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Anyone who's talking about how "paddles are faster" or "you'll get tired of clutching 24/7" is simply coping. If the idea of a drivers car to you is pressing a gas pedal and watching the speedo go to 60, then be my guest. IMO, thats lame as fuck.

Its honestly a cope. If you can't keep up in traffic or get tired, its a skill issue. If you need the auto on a racetrack to be the absolute fastest in a car like the mustang, thats also a skill issue.

The Mustang is not some hypercar that needs 10 gears on a race track or on the road. Sorry to break it to you.

If you just bought the mustang as a boomer cruiser with the 10R80, then fine. But in that case theres a million better options to have chosen from with an auto.

That’s a broad brush. Lazy leg isn’t all bad all the time.

In that case, they should really add one pedal driving to the mustang. That would really help with that annoying motion of moving your right leg over to the brake pedal to slow down.

Ohhhh. I am so sorry. I tend to forget that honestly. You are right. I hope I did not offend anyone then. Anyway. Still it is kind of funny and I am not sure what to think about drivers vise versa…. 🤭
