Heavy deep clean and ceramic coat. you can also do a good cleaning and use something like Gyeon wet coat, DIY quick beads or ADS beads.. plenty to pick from. I currently have mine coated with Blue Collar 6 which is no longer available. I have also used DIY detail 3 year coating and something as simple as Turtle wax seal n shine . Get them ceramic coated? It can ease future washing and less brake dust adherence to your wheels which prevents pitting and other detrimental effects that brake dust can cause over time.
For me maintenance is key. I get them good and clean. Then after each wash I use a dry clear spray wax from Meguiar's called Synthetic x-press spray wax. Wipe it down. Done. Only needs the deep clean a couple times per year.
I recently bought some new wheels and tires. I got the wheels first and coated them with 303 Graphene Nano Spray prior to the tires being mounted. Before all that I got some G-Lock ceramic brake pads since these Grabber brakes just love to put brake dust on the wheels. I recently hosed them off with a lawn hose and they beaded up like crazy. I'm happy with the results.
I just put some of that non-carnuba Meguire's car wax on them and it's working out great. I used to waste a LOT of money on coatings for my Z06. It looked good but not any better than what I'm using now which is Meguire's. Same concept of which motor oil is best.
