I think it sounds absolutely perfect but we'll see what everyone else has to say as we all have our opinions.... I bought the x-pipe but I'm not going to use it because I like the way it sounds too much to switch it....
I'm going to make a video so you can hear it......and I recently found out in drag mode with it pinned to the floor at around 60 mph shifting from 5 to 6 gear it chirps the wheels which I think is insanely fun 😁
Here's my only regret.....I had some nice crackles and pops with the stock resonator, but after switching to the H pipe that has all gone away ..... no more snap crackles and pops for me which has me pondering the x-pipe.....
Also I never use quiet mode, I mean I didn't buy a Mustang for it to be quiet you know..... With my setup I want to be able to use normal sport and track all with different variations of the exhaust tone....
I wasn't sure it what was inside so I did a search and from what I gathered it's just two straight pipes inside with no crossover with either an X or an H....
On BORLAs page they have a video that the owner put up about organ pipes and how different sizes and shapes that those pipes produce which is similar to the different size and shapes, and configurations that exhaust pipes produce....
Because of all the positive reviews when switching to an H pipe or an X-pipe and was also looking to change up the sound that I was hearing from the stock setup.... Different resonator because the stock one is this big box of a suitcase which tones down the overall sounds of the exhaust, and...
Also vinyl wrapped the spoiler gloss black as well as the front center fascia piece just below the grille.... Trying to get rid of most of the gray on my Dark Horse....
Why because BORLA and AWE both use Bottle style resonators on their exhaust systems, thats where i got the idea from.......Again as already stated the purpose is to fine tune or dial in the exhaust sound to the way I want it.......
I would make a sound video but, one, I've never done one before, and two all I have is a cell phone and don't know how accurate that would capture the sound....
