What Oil Separator/Catch Can do recommend?

I'm looking to add an oil separator/catch can. Do you recommend the ford performance product that includes both the passenger side and driver's side, or suggest another aftermarket product? What works best for ease of use? What works best with access as I have a strut tower brace?

Thanks for your input!

Passenger side is all you need for a stock 5.0. I went with J&L, clean, very simple install. I also see UPR quite a bit. Either options are fine. I have no issues unscrewing/screwing in my J&L catch can with a strut tower brace. Got mine from LMR: https://lmr.com/products/2024-mustang-oil-system

I like the Ford Performance one as far as looks. It looks more factory than any other one out there and works just as good. For the price it is hard to justify.

I have Ford Performance on my Bronco but have used UPR on my Mustangs and F150's

I would also agree that the passenger side might be all you need as I have yet to see a drop in my driver side on the Mustang UPR kit.

Hey there!

So, any one of them will do the job just really preference for brand.

I will say UPR has been my personal preferred setup. No mounting locations really get in the way of the strut tower brace to my knowledge. We have many options here at Lethal Performance if you'd like to check them out!

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be glad to help! Thanks!

the Ford Performance one comes as a set of both, and has a very OEM look to it. otherwise, i think most all oil catch cans work about as well as the others

The Ford Performance one comes as a set of both and while you don't need the drivers side one unless you add a supercharger I liked the looks and easy install. I tried 2 other brands before I went with the Ford one. It's a bit more money then the others but I like it.

+1 for UPR. Bought mine from @LethalPerformance and couldn't be happier. About a teaspoonful of oil caught after 1000 miles. Since Scarlett is a garage queen/fair weather princess I can go about a year with no need to empty it.
