I'm in the microfibre cloth camp. But I save a high quality, super soft cloth just for the screen.
Optical cleaning cloths are also great, but a bit small.

A screen cleaner kit from amazon. It has worked well on both of my BMWs with the big screens, so I'll use it on my Mustang.

I also just keep the finger prints on the screen too. A clean screen doesn't last long.

I use water to dampen a microfiber towel. I do have an anchor room vinyl screen protector on it. It was pricey and a pain to install but worth it. On my last GT I did not want to use a screen protector, cleaned carefully but it still developed micro scratching.

I have heard anecdotally that using window cleaners (which usually contain alcohol and/or amonia) will cause touch screens to become less sensitive. Ford recommends using only water to clean the screens, so that's what I do. Water and a nice microfiber.
