After talking to the manufacturer they're upgrading me to 20x10 from 20x9 for free, so problem/question solved. You see, overthinking ;) sometimes gets you positive results

they're upgrading me to 20x10 from 20x9
i was also going to mention 10" was optimal for 275 tires so maybe going to 20x10 would be ideal. now you can go 275 all around but probably need forscan to change tire circumference

Perfect. That gives you a much better fit for the 275/35/20 tires you want. And it won't materially impact your speedometer vs. the PP wheels and tires that will come stock on the car.

I would have gone 265/35/20 on 20x9 for a slightly shorter effective final drive and less weight. $300 bones is a lot cheaper on a set of 4 tires though.

To be honest based on the feedback here (I'm listening!), I was leaning towards the 265/35 on the 20x9 eating the extra $300. However, with the free 20x10 upgrade it's a no-brainer. Thanks all for the feedback.
