This is a step up from leather. The California Special and GT350 had these seats. This is on the seating surfaces. The bolsters, sides and back are vinyl as they always have.
Dark Horse with 700a and Non Recaro has leather trimmed (per my order sheet) seats. I have seen where Recaro's are vinyl trimmed, but they could be leather trimmed as well with the 700a. Pictures are of non-recaro seats. Except for the picture with Recaro on the seats.
For what it’s worth, in Ford speak “leather trimmed” means the seating surfaces that your body touches. The rest is leather look vinyl. In your case the seating surfaces are Dinamica. I think they look great.
I agree I like the look of them. I wasn't sure I would be a fan of the indigo blue, but it looks much better than I thought. I don't think any of us are buying, not buying, the car because of the seats. I actually ordered the car with no clue what the non recaro seats were going to look like. And I thought they would be cloth like the order guide said! So to my surprise, they look much better than 100% cloth seats.

I have not seen real leather in this type of cars for a while. When it is there, it looks like leather, but it isn’t. Even the big brands use real leather only in their top end classes. Below, it is “leatherette”, “leather accents”, “indulgent leather interior” and “synthetic leather”. All synonyms for “vinyl”.
On the S550 the seating surfaces are leather. The bolsters, sides, & backs are imitation leather (vinyl). The cars with the Premier Trim Group (201a/401a) get a better grade of leather that is really not that bad. Not Porsche quality but OK for the money.
My order sheet shows the same.there's documentation out there (and build and price) from Ford that conflicts with itself. Here's my wag at it

700A: leather/dinamica comfort seats
Recaro: leather all manual, no heat, no cool
your chart above basically says the same. build and price doesn't show leather for 700A. order guide also doesn't mention leather for 700A. But....

Recaro’s are an extra cost option. If you do see a dollar figure listed you are getting the regular seats.I recently went back to build a new mustang just for fun and I already ordered a Dark Horse but with Blue Ember Metallic, but it apparently automatically gives you the appearance package and if you scroll down to seating the recaro seats come with the appearance package, I dont want the recaro seats bc I still want the heated/cooled seats on my order it says leather-trimmed seats idk if that is recaro seats or not but Im hoping its not anyone have any idea what kind of seats i most likely have gotten?
The microsuede is considered a step up from leather. Either way it’s only on the seating surfaces. The bolsters, sides, & backs are leather like vinyl.
I imagine it's only considered a step up on the track where you could slip and slide around? For daily comfort and long term durability/cleanliness I imagine the leather would be superior? (never owned a car w/ suede)
