Alright, but realistically. For the price, either it should have the tech, or it should be priced way lower. There is zero argument there
If we are value adding I’d rather reduce weight then add more tech ….

I want more drivers car not a bigger computer…

I could care less for much of the tech features and upgrades.

With that being said, I want

Again, there is an argument to be made on OP's end.

Either it should have the tech, or it should be priced way lower. It doesn't matter what you want, for the price that some of these packages are going for (70K+), there is absolutely an argument to be made for why they should have the tech.

Otherwise, it should be a much cheaper car, something that has been discussed about the S650 ad nauseum

LOL... Some of you forget what a muscle car is supposed to be... though I ordered mine fully loaded, as I'm getting old and have been spoiled on the features as most of you have. Back in the day, we would order the muscle cars without AC and without radios. Anything to save weight was the way to go!
Well never mind some people get upset by calling the Mustang a muscle car when it is a pony car....

It is a GT coupe these days anyway.

I'm happy with the spec of mine, not that I had any choice. I would have liked a front camera or sensors, but that's getting fixed tomorrow with 4 colour matched front sensors.

For all the bells and shiny door-to-glovebox digital screen(s), the new S650s are lacking a lot in terms of Creature Comfort Technology. Things that are missing:
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Digital Screen Rear View Mirror/regular mirror combo (the old-fashioned dimming lever is used to change between the two on my Tahoe)
  • 360° view capability
    • Native supported front facing camera
    • Native supported side cameras
    • Only one rear view camera (two are required for the Digital Screen Rear View Mirror mentioned above)
  • HUD options
  • Electronically foldable mirrors
  • Headlight Dim-on-stop (admittedly, this isn't common in the US at all, but in Japan it's everywhere (and should be mandatory on SUVs))
  • Wireless Connected Car
  • Active drive surroundings monitoring (I've only seen this in Teslas, but it's darn impressive! Not only that, it could have a very real use for racing, drifting, or at the dragstrip)
I get it that not everyone wants or needs any or every one of these - but it's a brand new premium GT and it has half the features of my now 5 year old Tahoe.
From all those “options” I really miss and I think in my humble opinion is the 360 degrees camera.

I got plenty of options on the GT Premium. More than I need, and I work with computers.

Buy the PREMIUM and stop whining.

You have lawyers, insurance companies, and bureaucrats saying you cannot have what you want. There are a lot of people that are more interested in creature comforts than performance. We all have different needs. It used to be that if you wanted to get more performance, you needed to add performance parts. Today, you may still add parts, but you start at a higher level and it is often much harder to add parts without dealing with system integration.
