is there such as a thing as a plug in device that comes preloaded with something like a 93 octane tune?

The SCT device does not function that way yet, I talked to them and you still need to buy credits. Meaning you need a tune. It's supposed to be available possibly sometime in the future.

I was looking into this as well and with my research there is not a device that does this for the s650. The s550 SCT device does work that way if you read the comments on their website.

Isn't there a Steeda version being talked about in another thread right now?

I expect it was a reaction to the question having been asked very recently in another thread but hopefully ZX will come back to explain. I can imagine being able to offer remote/plug-and-play tunes would greatly increase a tuner’s business potentially.

It's just an old way of doing it, these days your device connects to the tuners network and they transfer files that way.

That’s pretty much how it works. So far the allstate/progressive (dongle) tag along tuner hasn’t made an appearance for the s650 (at least not that i’ve seen).

assuming op means a simple plug-n-pray (play) device that simply turns up the common params regardless, a self contained tune in a can
