Is not one of the Race prepped Dark Horses supposed to be using a 5.4 that's homogenized? So Ford would need to use a N/A 5.4 in some production car. Perhaps a GT350 or a BOSS?

2025 was also the rumored release of that AWD hybrid. Maybe the GT500 was slated to get that powertrain as a replacement for the predator. With the recent rumors stating that it was canceled though, maybe the 500 is going to go with a more traditional supercharged coyote (5.4 perhaps?).

Twin turbo, AWD, and around 850-hp would work well. I just hope that it would look better than the M/T renderings.

Pretty sure the S550 platform (that this rides on) isn't equipped for AWD
The platform certainly isn’t equipped for traditional AWD but the rumor was that it was going to be electrified with two electric motors mounted to the oil pan of the V8 powering the front wheels.

Not sure how I feel about this. AWD/RWD aside, I would personally like to see a traditional manual transmission offered in the GT500 again as we all know they skipped that option for the S550 GT500.
